We Help Businesses Make Smarter Financial Choices
Since 2019, we've worked with companies across South Korea to turn complex financial data into clear decisions. Our team analyzes numbers so you can focus on growth.
Started From Real Frustration
Back in early 2019, our founder was consulting for a mid-sized manufacturing firm outside Seoul. They had mountains of financial reports but couldn't figure out which product lines were actually making money. Spreadsheets everywhere, but no clarity.
That's when it clicked. Companies needed someone to cut through the noise and show them what their numbers really meant. Not fancy dashboards or complicated projections—just honest analysis that led to actionable decisions.
We started small, working with three clients that first year. By 2021, we'd helped 28 businesses restructure their pricing models, cut unnecessary costs, and spot growth opportunities they'd been missing.

How We Actually Work
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all financial advice. Every business has different challenges, and we tailor our approach based on what you actually need.
Deep Data Review
We spend time understanding your financial systems—not just looking at final reports, but digging into how data flows through your organization. Sometimes the problem is in how information gets collected.
Pattern Recognition
After analyzing hundreds of businesses, we've learned to spot trends quickly. Things like seasonal cash flow issues, hidden cost drivers, or pricing strategies that don't match market reality.
Plain Language Reporting
You get findings in clear terms. No jargon-filled presentations. We explain what the numbers show, what it means for your business, and what options you have moving forward.
The People Behind the Analysis
We're a small team, which means you work directly with experienced analysts—not junior staff. Everyone here has worked in finance for at least eight years before joining us.

Henrik Voss
Lead Financial Analyst
Henrik spent twelve years in corporate finance at Samsung before starting synapmaxon. He specializes in cost structure analysis and has helped companies identify over 2 billion won in savings since 2020. He's particularly good at finding inefficiencies in supply chain financing.

Caleb Winters
Business Strategy Director
Caleb joined us in 2021 after working in management consulting for nine years. He focuses on revenue optimization and market positioning analysis. His background in both finance and operations gives him a unique perspective on how business decisions actually play out.
What Guides Our Work
We've always believed that good financial analysis should make things clearer, not more complicated. When businesses understand their numbers, they make better decisions—it's that straightforward.
Our approach is built on a few core principles that shape every project we take on:
- Honesty over optimism—we tell you what the data actually shows, even when it's not what you want to hear
- Practical recommendations that fit your resources and timeline
- Respect for your time—we get to the point and don't drag out engagements unnecessarily
- Confidentiality without exception—your financial information stays private, always

Working Together: What to Expect
Most clients work with us over several months. Here's how a typical engagement unfolds, though we adjust based on what you need.
Initial Discovery
We spend about two weeks understanding your business, reviewing current financial processes, and identifying key questions you need answered. This includes interviews with your team and document review.
Data Analysis Phase
This is where we dig into the numbers. Depending on complexity, analysis takes four to eight weeks. We look at historical trends, run scenarios, and identify patterns that explain current performance.
Findings Review
We present our findings in person, walking through what we discovered and what it means for your business. You get a written report, but the real value is in discussing implications together and answering questions.
Implementation Support
If you decide to move forward with our recommendations, we provide guidance during implementation. This might mean helping design new reporting systems, training your team, or monitoring results as changes take effect.

Real Results From Recent Projects
In 2024, we worked with a textile manufacturer that was losing money on 30% of their product line without realizing it. After analyzing their costing methodology, we helped them restructure pricing and phase out unprofitable SKUs. Within six months, their operating margin improved noticeably.
Another client, a logistics company, thought they had a revenue problem. Our analysis showed they actually had a cash timing problem—customers paid slowly while suppliers demanded quick payment. We redesigned their payment terms structure, which stabilized their cash position without changing sales volume.
These aren't dramatic turnarounds or miraculous transformations. Just careful analysis leading to sound decisions that improved business performance over time.
Looking Ahead to 2025
We're planning to expand our team by two analysts this year and launch quarterly workshops on financial planning for small business owners in the Gyeonggi-do region. First workshop is scheduled for September 2025.
